Scottish mission to the
Jews
In 1839 Bonar went to Israel with Robert M'Cheyne
and others.

Adolph Saphir
with
his whole family, was converted as a direct result of the Scottish Mission to
the Jews.
He later became a Presbyterian preacher in London.
